“A 5 year old’s brain, healthy or otherwise, is encased in a thinner skull and contains more fluid than an adult brain. According to studies carried out by industry modelers in Switzerland and France, the bone marrow of a child’s head absorbs 10 times more radiation than an adult, while that of infants and toddlers will absorb even more.”

I am wanting to find red lightbulbs for nighttime for our lamps. The one you recommend is an LED bulb and I’ve read some stuff on these that I’d like to stay away from. Incandescent bulbs are supposed to be the safest—does this mean any bulb that is red or orange and low wattage is good? Or not necessarily? I found these—would they work? https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B016P6ATD0/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1517538788&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=incandescent+red+light+bulb&dpPl=1&dpID=41ne%2BUaLe7L&ref=plSrch

Your healthy home checklist mentions a whole house water filter, but I’m not seeing a recommendation here. Haven’t found a good one yet? Also, swimming is so beneficial to the body – how do you get around the chlorine problem?

First off thank you so much for all your recommendations. I have purchased a few things so far. Thank you thank you. I am building a house in North Carolina in the mountains, unfortunately I can’t afford a lot of the green house things but I am very interested in your recommendations on a whole house water filter system and I will have well water. I have a kangen water machine and shower filters now but would like to Make my life easier with less maintenance of each item and changing filters, etc. Thank you again for all you do.

What type of flooring did you use in your new home or what type do you recommend. I live in an apartment with carpet but would like to change out the carpet to something more chemical/off gas friending. How is old school linoleum?

    Hello,

I have been watching the Toxic Home Transformation and loving all the new information. We are in the process of setting our house up with ethernet and I understand that we need to ground our computers. When I looked on LessEMF.com, they have a USB ground cord… is this the correct one for grounding our laptops? The other thing we are trying to figure out is the panel to make ethernet possible in our house is in our bedroom closet, our Hub is not working in there, and both of our laptops are only working with the router in our closet acting as a splitter and a hub (No wifi coming through). The router does not appear to change the radiation on the Acousticom 2 by much … would you feel safe about this necessary location? It seems to be the only way we can ditch our wifi. Do you have any other suggestions or a lead to where we can find more information on how to solve this? Thanks so much for your help and all the wonderful work you are doing!

    Hi friends,

I’ve been searching your site and haven’t seen anything on humidifiers. Do you use them? We are suffering in our home with dryness- respiratory, eye, sinus irritation and do every winter. Do you recommend anything regarding humidification apart from keeping it low to avoid mold/fungus formation? Just can’t find any info on it. Thanks so much!

Hi, I’m a big fan of Andy Pace. I’m looking for a good standard/twin pillow for my toddler, but the ones that Andy recommends are over $100. Do you recommend any good ones that are cheaper? Thank you so much!!

Silverite is what we use – could get their travel pillow for cheaper if it’s for a small toddler

Thank you for such a long list of products. Personally I do not recommend R/O or distilled water systems because they create low pH, demineralized, and low absorbability water for the human body. None of these issues support health. I had to do my own research because I do sell a water purifier. My choice is an alkaline ionized system (yes I do sell one) which raises the pH, hydrates well, and leaves IN minerals. Another major toxin to get out of your house is carpet—loaded with chemicals and outgassing. best wishes, rachel

      Hi Rachel,

We have an RO but it remineralizes the water afterwards. We used to have an alkaline machine but after extensive research went with a hydrogen water machine instead… and this is after our water also goes through a whole home filtration system.

We do not have any carpet in our home 🙂

      Best wishes to you too!

I’ve searched your site, have you mentioned what pillows you use? I can’t find non toxic, chemical plastic filled pillows. Could you possibly recommend any? Have the same old pillows from 9+ years ago because I can’t find anything new and safe.
